Syaoran

Syaoran is the protagonist of the series and the adopted son of archeologist: Fujitaka that died after an excavation accident. He doesn't know much about his past (neither does anyone else), but meeting the Princess of Clow (Sakura) allows him to have a future. Eventually they grow to be great friends, and Syaoran even falls in love with her. A tragic accident tears the two apart when Sakura loses her memories and almost dies. Upon meeting the Dimensional Witch, Yuko, he makes a deal to travel to different worlds to obtain her lost memories, but he pays the price that she will never remember him. Still, he sets out to alien worlds just to save the life of someone he loves.
